History fans are being invited to a mini-conference about the Roman Antonine Wall.
The event takes place in the Hippodrome Cinema in Bo’ness on Sunday, Sept 17, 2017 from 10 a.m. A spokesman for the organisers said: “This free event is for anyone in the community interested in the Antonine Wall and Roman heritage in the area.”

The event has been organised by The Friends of Kinneil charity in association with Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Trust.
The conference doors will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept 18, 2016. The cafe area will be open, selling hot drinks. The event will formally start starts at 10.30 a.m. and finish at 1 p.m. Please note: the event is aimed at general public as well as partners, academics and anyone interested in the Wall.
Big Roman Week will continue with an optional history walk for delegates – and for any speakers who wish to join us – leaving from Bo’ness Library at 2 p.m. and walking to Carriden Roman Fort.
